RE

As a Church of England school, RE at All Saints has a high profile within the curriculum.  Christianity is the majority religion studied,  (as directed by DBE guidelines) however, across the children's school life at All Saints they will encounter learning of all of the world's major religions.  We follow the Understanding Christianity programme of study for our Christianity focused learning and the Coventry Newly Agreed Syllabus for other religions.  We aim for children to learn from their studies of religions, as well as learning about them.  RE lessons are a safe space for children to explore their own religious, spiritual and/or philosophical ways of seeing, living and thinking, believing and belonging.
