More events...
- Y5/Y6 Running Club15:30 - 16:30Running Club is BACK! I am looking for runners from Years 5 & 6 to join the club as we train for the Junior Park Run event. Training sessions will take place on Fridays after school until 4.30pm, with our first session on 5th June. We will run around the paths at London Road Cemetery. Whilst I will supervise the children at all times, they will be given some freedom. We will agree a circuit and meeting point and, at the end of each session, children will be allowed to run the route at their own pace. It is important that parents and children understand the trust I am placing in them. Should anyone break the rules put in place to keep everyone safe, they will not be allowed to continue participating. There are 6 spaces available and you will be notified if your child has a space. Children must commit to the 3-week training programme and must also be able to take part in the Junior Park Run event. This is a free event held weekly at the Memorial Park.
