Celebrating Differences

Our All Saints community reflects the diversity of modern Britain.  In our school we proudly share and celebrate our differences! We ensure children understand how everyone has the right to be themselves and are protected from discrimination in law through the Equality Act 2010. 

Complementing the JIGSAW PHSE scheme we also use stories and lesson plans recommended by Andrew Moffat's 'No Outsiders' scheme.  These lessons explore inclusion and prepare children to promote community cohesion. 

We encourage children to be 'Courageous Advocates' and explore themes of protected characteristics in weekly class worship sessions.  These sessions are displayed in the hall and also published in the weekly newsletter.  We want to encourage family discussions to promote a deeper rooted community approach.
