    Thank you to our PCSO's for loaning us their parking people!  After visiting the school last week, the police are really concerned about the safety of our pupils on Strathmore Avenue.

    Year 6 have been busy constructing shelters out of lolly pop sticks to test stability and strength. Will their structures withstand the wind and impact tests tomorrow?

    Year 1 enjoy pretending to be teachers and this week they helped Miss Dainty create a school role play area by making a list of all the things they would need. They loved taking it in turns to be the teacher by doing some of their favourite maths activities, testing each other on their sounds and taking the register.

    One of the pupils in Year 5 designed a maze for this week's Faith Challenge, based on the Bible story of Daniel in the lion's den, which focuses on the Christian Value of trust.

    Dear Parents

    Our Charities Team are organising 2 Harvest events next week:

    1.Harvest Competition: Guess the weight of the pumpkin/ marrow- see attached letter

    2. Harvest Foodbank collection-

    Items needed:

    puddings (e.g. rice pudding/sponge/custard/tinned fruit/jelly)

    Biscuits

    Crisps

    Tea/coffee/sugar

    (They do not need beans or pasta)

    Please bring in your donations on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd, children can place their items in the labelled box inside each classroom.
