Friends of All Saints
FoTS informally run by volunteer parents of the school.
Our aim is to organise fun events and activities! The children love our events and as well as having fun we raise valuable funds for school that enhance the quality of our children’s learning environment. They are great occasions for celebration for families and our school and community.
Like most Parents Associations, the majority of our funds are raised through the events that we run. Some of our most popular events are:
- Film Night
- Christmas and Summer Fairs
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Quiz Nights
We have also completed fundraising projects such as Christmas card designing and tea towels.
It is at our HiPPO Committee meetings, that the decisions on how to spend the money are agreed. We always endeavour to spend funds in ways that will benefit our children across all areas of the school and curriculum. You can be sure that in supporting our school, your child/ren will benefit from new resources and experiences to enhance their learning.
We usually meet once every month at school. Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings and become actively involved. Even if you are unable to attend meetings we would still love you to get involved. We are always looking for volunteer support at our events. We also welcome any ideas or suggestions for events we can run throughout the year.
Offering to help before events or at other times during the year is so valuable. It doesn’t matter if you can’t help on a regular basis, or even if you can not come into school. There are always jobs that can be done from home if you have half an hour to spare e.g. wrapping gifts, preparing raffle tickets etc. We really couldn’t achieve what we do without the behind the scenes help that we receive.
If you would like to find out more then please get in touch! You can contact us via email xxxxxxxx Please let us know if you have any contacts or skills we could use, everything is potentially valuable to us.
