Our Assistant Headteacher, Ms Goulder leads the Early Years Foundation Stage team.  Our EYFS area boasts a large classroom with access to a rich and exciting outdoor area.  We are passionate about ensuring our youngest children learn the basic key skills which build the foundations for later learning.  There is a strong literacy focus with learning linked to inspiring books and stories.  Much of the learning takes place through play based activities inside and out.  Children thrive in the outside environment and they are outside enjoying the natural environment in all weathers!  We want to harness children's natural curiosity and encourage them to ask lots of questions leading their own love of learning.
